Long time Nutella lover, Gavin Butterbean, has a deep dark secret. He prefers white chocolate over dark chocolate. So when he found out today that they are now making white chocolate Nutella, he was even more excited than when Arnotts released the triple layered white chocolate Tim Tams.
“Today my life changed forever. I learnt of the existence of white Nutella,” said an out-of-breath Butterbean. “I love Nutella, but deep down – and I feel guilty even saying it – I have wished that Nutella was white.”
“For years I have suffered from white guilt. I know that my high school is made up of 75% white chocolate eaters, and that just feels unfair.”
Butterbean says he comes from a long line of white chocolate eaters.
“Instead of harnessing my privilege for greater food, I’m curled up in a ball of shame. How can I be more than my heritage?”
“Taking the ‘I don’t see colour’ approach may sound like a great idea in theory, but it doesn’t undo the impacts of foodism.”
So the question on every white chocolate lovers cocoa covered lips is, where the hell can you buy white Nutella? Unfortunately, for now it is only available in Italy. Hopefully some bottles manage to jump on a boat and successfully make it to our shores.
