Gabrielle Miller, the young brunette who features in every Trivago ad, has caught the attention of men everywhere. Only thing is, they’re too busy sending her marriage proposals to realise she’s actually advertising a travel website.
“No idea what she’s selling,” a recent survey taken by Trivago found. “But if she needs a date on Saturday night, tell her I’m free,” said Brad ‘Mrs’ Palmer, 29.
“I’ve sent the site five marriage proposals, but for some reason they keep sending me stuff on cheap hotel rooms. Gabrielle, I want you to know I’m not cheap. I’m happy to put you up in a reasonably priced hotel for our wedding night,” said Sam Delusional, 27.
“I heard she auditioned for the role on a nudist beach. Pwhoar! Why don’t they run that footage instead of whatever they’re on about now?” panted Adam Hornbag, 43.
“Ever since we cast Gabrielle in our ads, our viewership has gone through the roof, as have our emails from lonely – and often way too sexually graphic – single men. That’s why we’ve started dressing her in plain outfits and hamster costumes, to get the focus back on travel,” said German Trivago owner, Helmut End.
“And it’s worked too. Over the past six months we’ve seen a decrease in the number of sleazy emails from men. Only thing is, now the emails are coming from the Furry community asking for more ads of Gabrielle in hamster and gerbil costumes.”
