“Better get fire insurance,” fretted Mikayla Grout (31).
With the hit TV show Game of Thrones featuring many strong female characters, a number of parents named their daughter after the character Daenerys Targaryen, also known as Khaleesi. So much so, that last year alone 560 parents named their daughters after her.
Which might have seemed like a good idea until she turned into the mad queen on last nights episode. Parents everywhere are now worried about when their precious baby girl reaches the teenage years and unleashes her wicked Targaryen temper.
“The tantrums, the sense of self-importance and entitlement. What was I thinking?” asked Jenny Britts (29). “I’ve basically got a future mad queen living under my roof.”
“Better get fire insurance,” fretted Mikayla Grout (31). “If she doesn’t get her way, looks like she might set the lounge room on fire.”
While most parents now have buyers remorse over the name, not all are too worried about future hissy fits.
“As long as she doesn’t sleep with her nephew, I’m okay with it,” said Carly Hopper (34).
