After the success of the police television show RBT, viewers have written in to complain about their targeting of people in Mt Druitt perceiving it to be unfair. Not because police are over-testing them, but because they’re such an easy target. Given that these poor people have to live in Mt Druitt, some feel they’ve suffered enough.
‘With streets filled with mullets, ugg boots, and bad dental hygiene, police need to give them a break,’ wrote Alan Beagle (46) of Lidcombe.
‘Police need to leave these poor souls alone and target people who don’t need to drink to block out the thought of living in The Druitt,’ wrote Julia Bitmead (23) of Minto.
‘If I had to live there, I’d have meth for breakfast too,’ wrote Sally Rogers (34) of Beecroft.
After such a large letter writing campaign, police have heard the public loud and clear and declared they will ease up on these poor folk and focus their energies elsewhere.
“Look we’ve known this since day dot. Breath testing in The Druitt is an easy way to make our quotas. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel,” said Police Chief, Lotta Sticktime (56). “But the public have spoken, so we’ll leave them be.”
Whilst it’s nice of police to give them a break, they have been filming in The Druitt for over five years and catch people every time and the truth is if they haven’t got the message by now, then they never will.
