After deciding to stop hosting porn on their site, Tumblr’s value follows suit and gets rubbed out.

“Guess we should have seen that coming,” said Tumblr CEO/dumbarse, Matt Mullenweg.

Word is Verizon is planning on selling the social media site Tumblr for a price that is well under $20 million dollars. While most us think that is a huge amount of money, consider this – it was purchased by Yahoo in 2013 for $1.1 billion. What explains such a precipitous drop? Another tale of a ‘Get woke/go broke’ dumbarse decision.

You see, around 12 months ago Tumblr decided to no longer host porn on their sites in a move of massive virtual signalling. And around 12 months ago, virtually everyone who was on Tumblr unsubscribed. How could Tumblr execs get this so wrong, given that the Internet is made up of 49% outrage and 51% of porn? Woke people are fucking idiots.

Take Gillette for example. Let’s make an ad that’s offensive to males, you know – our core audience of consumers. What’s that? We lost $8 billion. Oh well, it was worth it and I would do it all again said the campaign designer – the now fired campaign designer. And in the case of Tumblr, they too haven’t learned a thing with Chief Executive Matt Mullenweg telling the Wall Street Journal that he plans to maintain the porn ban on their site.

Good luck Matt and Tumblr. See you and the Gillette CEO outside of a Starbucks soon begging for spare change. It’s true it costs nothing to be woke – it also makes nothing too.
