In what will go down as an epically bad decision in the history of bad decisions, karate practitioner Phyiuck Yiu (37) of New York thought it a good idea to challenge an armed man in Texas to a fight. And what do you know? It wasn’t.
Visiting downtown Austin, Texas from his home in Upstate New York, Mr Yiu had heard how tough Texans are and thought he would test his 20+ years of karate experience against the first cowpoke who looked at him sideways. Not having far to look to find trouble, he was two minutes off the bus before he bumped into Mr Wesson.
Telling him to “watch where he was going” and asking if he wanted a “knuckle sandwich”, Mr Wesson didn’t speak in return, rather he simply drew his pistol and shot Mr Yiu right in the leg dropping him to the ground to writhe in pain and scream like a little girl.
“Well, that didn’t last long,” said gun owner, Wesson Smith (42).
From here, Mr Wesson continued on about his day and thought nothing of the altercation. So if there is anyone else out there wondering if karate can beat a gun, you might want to learn a thing or two from the experience of Mr Yiu, because a grown man should know a gun wins every time.
