While Australia as whole receives high marks for its handling of the Covid-19 virus, a startling anomaly in Aussie pubs has government officials scratching their heads and turning to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for their help. The anomaly in question – the same person has been in multiple pubs across the country at the same time and authorities cannot find an answer.
“This was first brought to our attention by a publican in Western Australia who noticed that two blokes of the same name – a Mr Goan Fukurself – had signed out of the pub at the same time. At first we thought they might be twins, but dismissed this as they would have different first names. After that, we’re all out of ideas. We can’t explain this mystery,” sighed Detective Phil Thicko (45) of the AFP.
Digging a little further into the strange occurrence, it was revealed that Mr Goan Fukurself had not only been in this pub in Perth, but in multiple pubs across the city and the state. When this was brought to the government’s attention, a national investigation found that this person was also in pubs in every state right across the country.
“We’re as bewildered as you are and are asking the public for their help. So, if you see this mystery person signing out at a pub, please contact the Australian Federal Police so we can apprehend them. Until then, stay safe.”
At the time of publication, this case remains unsolved.
