Disgraced NRL player, Jarryd Hayne, has been found guilty of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent this week which means the former Rugby League star is off to jail. Hayne is set to be sentenced in May, but until then, his solicitor is doing his best to prepare the star player for what’s to come.
“This is one of those good news, bad news scenarios,” said Hayne’s solicitor, Maka Deal (41), to his client after the verdict was delivered. “You know how you’re going to jail for rough sex? Well, the good news is – you’ve got some experience in this area. The bad news is, this time you probably won’t fancy the person you’re doing it with.”
Hayne stoically received the verdict from the judge this week, although it would be safe to assume he is not looking forward to his time behind bars. Luckily for him, this is not the first time someone associated with Parramatta Eels has had to deal with disappointment – like their fans have been since 1986.
